Description
Fire rated gypsum board has a core reinforced with glass fibre that holds the board together in a fire. Built into a tested partition or ceiling system, it gives the wall or ceiling its fire rating.
It is used for escape corridors, shaft walls, protected stairs and ceilings under floors, in both new buildings and refurbishments.
