Our guide Fire Pump Guide: Electric, Diesel and Jockey Pumps explains how they work together.
Each pump needs its own controller. An electric fire pump controller starts the electric pump on pressure drop. A diesel fire pump control panel starts the engine and watches its batteries and running state. A jockey pump control panel runs the jockey pump between its start and stop pressures.
When a controller fails, the right spare part often brings it back without replacing the panel. We supply the control panel motherboard, the I/O board, the pressure transducer and the RPM sensor. Send us a photo of the panel and of the old part's label, so we match the model.
A fire pump is chosen by two numbers: the flow it must deliver and the pressure (head) it must reach at that flow. Both come from the building's fire fighting design. If you have the design or the equipment schedule, send it with your enquiry. If you do not, tell us the type of building, the number of floors and the size of the water tank, and we tell you what is needed to size the pump.
A diesel pump keeps the system working during a power cut, which happens often in Bangladesh. Many fire safety designs include one as the standby pump. Check your approved design, or ask us.
It keeps the fire pipes full and under pressure. Small leaks and pressure changes are handled by the jockey pump, so the main fire pump only starts when there is a real demand, such as a sprinkler opening.
Yes, on request. Our team can install the pumps and controllers, connect them and run a test. Ask for it with your quote.
It depends on the type, the flow and pressure, the driver (electric or diesel) and the brand. Send us the duty point or your design, and we send a written quotation.
