Using and care
Practise putting the mask on before you need it. Check the fit: the straps should hold the face piece firmly with no gaps. A filter mask protects for a limited time and does not supply oxygen, so it is for escape and short tasks, not for long work in thick smoke. Store masks sealed and dry, check them regularly, and replace filters or masks as the maker states.
