Description
A vertical turbine fire pump lifts water from a source below the pump: an underground tank, a sump, a well or a river. The pump bowls sit under the water, so the pump never needs priming and is always ready to start.
It takes little floor space in the pump room, which makes it a good fit where the water supply is below ground level. We select the number of stages and the drive to match the depth of the water and the pressure the system needs.
