Description
A horizontal split case pump is chosen when a building needs a large, reliable water supply for firefighting: big factories, warehouses, high-rise buildings and industrial plants. Its double suction impeller balances the load on the shaft, so it runs smoothly for long periods.
The casing splits horizontally, so the rotating parts can be inspected and serviced without disturbing the pipework or the motor. We supply it with an electric motor or diesel engine and its controller, sized to the site's hydraulic design.

Installation and care
The pump and its driver are installed on a common base plate, aligned carefully and connected with straight suction pipework. The split casing lets the rotating parts be inspected without disturbing the pipes. Run the pump regularly and test its performance each year. Our team can install and commission split case pumps on request.
