Description
Firefighting foam concentrate is mixed with water to make the foam that puts out flammable liquid fires. It forms a blanket over the fuel that cuts off the air and stops vapours escaping, so the fire cannot re-ignite.
AFFF suits hydrocarbon fuels such as petrol and diesel. Alcohol-resistant AR-AFFF is needed for polar solvents such as alcohols and acetone. We supply the right type and concentration for your system.

Before you order
Tell us the fuel you need to protect (petrol, diesel, alcohol, solvents or chemicals), the equipment that will mix the foam, and its proportioning rate (1%, 3% or 6%). The concentrate must match both the fuel and the equipment. Fuels that mix with water, such as alcohols, need an alcohol-resistant (AR) foam.
Installation and care
Store the concentrate in its sealed containers, out of the sun and within the stated temperature range. Do not mix different types or brands in a tank unless the makers confirm they are compatible. Test samples as the maker recommends, and replace foam that has gone off.
Common questions
What is the difference between AFFF and AR-AFFF?
AFFF is for fuels that do not mix with water, such as petrol and diesel. AR-AFFF also works on fuels that do, such as alcohols and acetone.
What do 1%, 3% and 6% mean?
The share of concentrate mixed with water to make foam solution. It must match your equipment's proportioner.
Can I mix foam brands?
Only if the makers confirm they are compatible. Otherwise keep one type in each tank.
