Description
The diesel fire pump control panel starts the diesel engine automatically when the system pressure drops or the electric pump fails. It cranks the engine from its batteries and keeps it running until it is stopped by hand.
The panel watches the engine's oil pressure, coolant temperature, speed and fuel level, raises alarms on a fault, and keeps the starting batteries charged. A diesel pump is often required as a backup where the mains supply is not reliable.
