Description
A NAC (notification appliance circuit) extender is a power supply that drives additional sounders and strobes. A fire alarm panel can only power a limited number of alarm devices; the extender takes a signal from the panel and powers many more.
It is used in large buildings, and when strobes are added to an existing system whose panel does not have the capacity.

Before you order

Installation and care
Mount the extender near the alarm devices it powers, on a wall or in a panel, with its own mains supply and backup batteries. Connect its trigger to the panel and its fault output back to the panel, so a problem with the extender shows on the panel. Test it in each fire drill.
